Our 3rd graders had a great field trip to the Franklin Park Zoo last week. They had a scavenger hunt for animals and were able to relate these to the animals they are learning about in class. Thank you to all of the parent chaperones for their help!

Our Student Council president, Audrey from Mrs. Loch’s class has been invited into our third grade classrooms to explain the Student Council process for Memorial School. Audrey is doing a great job highlighting the responsibilities of a classroom representative. Our third graders are actively engaged in the conversation and are asking great questions.
Students interested in Student Council have received information in their classrooms. Interested students should prepare a speech and a poster to bring into their classroom the week of October 12th. More information will be sent home through the classrooms. If you have any questions please reach out to Renee Ulcickas at
rulcickas@sau17.net or Amy Collins at
